Apply for a grant

 

Organisations can apply for a grant to support participation of teaching and training staff in a mobility (training course) under Key Action 1 'Learning Mobility of Individuals' (KA1) of the Erasmus+. Individuals cannot apply directly.
Erasmus+ supports the professional development of teachers, school leaders or other school education staff in the form of participation in structured courses or training events in field of school education. Erasmus + is the new programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport for 2014-2020. See http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus

How to Apply

Choose a course (or more than one course): 

Applications must be made by an organisation (individuals can no longer apply) so you should discuss the course with the headteacher and get a permission to apply. Organisations can apply for multiple places on the same course or choose several course dates in different locations.

 

Complete pre-registration form – Mosaic of Communication, A Classroom with a Door to the World, Digital Dynamic Cultural Dialogue, Hidden in the Open Space to receive a confirmation letter.

 

Before being able to apply for Erasmus+ funding you need to register your organisation:

  1. Register your organisation on the European Commission Authentication Service (ECAS), if you are not already registered. There is a video guide on how to register on ECAS which you may want to watch before registering.
  2. Log in to the Participant Portal with your ECAS account details and register your organisation to obtain your unique 9-digit Participant Identification Code (PIC). Please ensure your organisation does not already have a PIC before you register.

 

Download Erasmus+ KA1 'Learning Mobility of Individuals application form from your National Agency, listed here. You can submit only one application each year, but you can apply for courses over one or two years in the same application form. For grant support to travel costs travel distances must be calculated using the distance calculator.

The application is a part of a staff development plan. Describe how participation in the course will help develop your organisation and its staff, and how you will share the skills and knowledge with your colleagues and the wider education community. Fill in the grant section asking for Course fees, Individual Support (accommodation, food, local transport), International Travel to and from the course location and Support for preparation, monitoring and validation of the mobility.

 

Submit the application form online before the deadline – February 2, 2016. Your national agency will contact you if your grant application has been successful. Inform us as soon as possible and we will confirm places on a courses required by you. We provide pedagogical and intercultural preparation support, monitoring of the participants during course and validation of the learning outcomes.

 

DO NOT book flights or hotels before your grant application has been signed by your National Agency AND your place on the course has been confirmed by us. You will transfer course fees prior to arriving for the course.
